Home CCATCM Founders & Faculty
At CCATCM, your education is shaped by passionate experts with deep roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a commitment to teaching. Meet the people dedicated to guiding your journey.
CCATCM was established by Dr. Diana Tong Li and Dr. Franklyn Shi Chen, both highly respected Doctors of TCM with decades of experience.
Dr. Li began her medical training in 1980 and holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Acupuncture and TCM. She is a leader in national and international TCM organizations (CMAAC, WFAS, WFCMS) and established the first dedicated acupuncture and TCM clinic in Atlantic Canada.
Dr. Li co-authored several English TCM textbooks and is renowned for her clinical success, particularly in fertility treatment, having helped bring over 590 babies into the world alongside Dr. Chen.
Dr. Chen comes from a medical family. He has a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and TCM and a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. He is proficient in both Eastern and Western approaches and has over 30 years of experience researching and treating complex conditions, such as multiple chemical sensitivity. He co-authored textbooks with Dr. Li and is actively involved in international TCM societies.
Their shared vision was to create a college that blends time-honored Eastern wisdom with modern healthcare practices, emphasizing hands-on learning and preparing skilled, compassionate practitioners.
You’ll learn directly from a team of highly qualified and dedicated instructors. Our faculty brings invaluable real-world knowledge into the classroom, ensuring you receive high-standard technical and professional training in a supportive environment. They are committed to your success and provide personalized guidance in our small class settings.
