Dr. MAN, SC is a clinician, researcher and teacher. He graduated from The Hong Kong Baptist University with a double major in biomedical science and Chinese medicine. After years of clinical practice, he pursued postgraduate studies at the medical school of The University of Hong Kong, culminating in a doctorate degree.

As a medicine practitioner by training, Dr. MAN has a particular interest in neuro-degenerative and mental disorders. Over the past 15 years, he has been actively engaged in evidence-based medicine research, focusing on clinical studies, with results published in international peer-reviewed journals. He possesses extensive experience in the manufacture of drugs, herbal proprietary products, and placebos. He held affiliations with various regional and central academic hospitals.

Alongside his clinical duties and research activities, Dr. MAN also devoted to TCM teaching with passion and innovation. For over six years, he served as a lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Community College, during which he played a pivotal role in the curriculum revamp, aiding the development of the Chinese Medicine ApL course. This was not only the first of its kind but also set a new standard in TCM education at the tertiary level.

As a passionate advocate for public education, Dr. MAN sought to make TCM accessible to all. He authored engaging books that demystified TCM for the general public, aiming to dispel misconceptions and promote holistic wellness. His expertise and approachable style led to features on newspapers, radio and TV programs, where he spread awareness and understanding of TCM to a broader audience. 

Moreover, Dr. MAN frequently shared his knowledge beyond traditional platforms. Invited by various Non-Governmental Organizations, he delivered insightful talks and seminars on TCM topics, connecting with diverse communities. Committed to professional growth within the field, he also lectured in seminars organized by professional bodies, educating fellow practitioners and contributing to the advancement of TCM practice.
