Tara Amudipe
Certified Pharmacy Assistant

My name is Tara Amudipe. I am originally from East Preston, Nova Scotia and currently living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I have had a passion for learning and teaching from a very young age. I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Most of my work after graduation was community development where I had the opportunity to be able to teach and encourage community youth. In 2010 I graduated from Algonquin Careers Academy in Ottawa with honors from the Pharmacy Assistant Program. Shortly after graduating from Algonquin, I secured a job at a community pharmacy and in long term care pharmacy. In 2018 I moved back to Nova Scotia and continued to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community pharmacy and a long-term care home until 2019. In 2019 I accepted a position as a contract Pharmacy Assistant Program Instructor at CBBC career college in Dartmouth. It was a wonderful experience for me to teach and inspire and provided me the opportunity to learn from the students I was teaching. I currently work full time with the Government of Canada. I’m so grateful to work with a great team. I’m delighted to join the CCATCM Faculty team.
