Darya Zuychenko
Darya Zuychenko
DOMP, RMT, RAc, Reiki Master

Darya Zuychenko is a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Registered Acupuncturist, Registered Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master, working in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO), the Massage Therapist’s Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (ATCMANS).

Darya has been practicing massage therapy since 2014. Upon graduation from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), she was the recipient of the annual award from the Massage Therapist’s and Wholistic Practitioner’s Association of the Maritimes for displaying a practice based on an all encompassing wholistic approach for the care and treatment of her patients. Several months prior to her graduation, she completed her extra studies and became a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui style of Reiki, incorporating the therapy into her practice, aiming to balance and connect deeply rooted energetic disorders with their physical counterparts.

During her time at CCMH, Darya was becoming more interested in the treatment of internal conditions, which led to her application and acceptance to the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to advance her studies in acupuncture. In 2016, Darya graduated as an acupuncturist from CCATCM, and began treating with these modalities. She loves working in a tight-knit health community, and with prolonged exposure and success with local osteopaths, she decided to enrol into the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques to continue her education to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.  In 2023, Darya once again enrolled into a program, this time in the field of Somatic Experiencing and Practice, and hopes to graduate and offer this service in late 2025.

In the few rare moments that Darya is not studying, she spends a great deal of time training with the aerialist dance and circus communities, building strength and focus through fitness and flexibility. Darya believes that everything is connected, both in life and body, and with her gentle and careful approach, she is thrilled to help you alter your current dysfunctions to inspire a beautiful, healthy future.

Please note, as a member of the NSAO, she is not an Osteopathic Physician, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO, formerly Doctor of Osteopathy), nor does she practice Osteopathic Medicine. In Nova Scotia, Osteopathic Manual Practice is not regulated by the government, however the NSAO is actively seeking government regulation to protect the public and our profession. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners are not members of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
