Pan-Canadian Exam Results

This marks the first year that our college’s graduates wrote the Pan Canadian Exam.

Yesterday I received feedback from our recent graduate that all three of our students who took the exam passed both the written and practical exams, giving our college a 100% pass rate. Our graduate informed us that comparatively, the national pass rate was 64%.

The Pan-Canadian Exam is developed by the Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CARB-TCMPA). This exam aims to facilitate labour mobility across provinces by increasing the ability of provincial regulatory bodies to assess and recognize qualifications of Canadian candidates who wish to legally practice in Canadian provinces. The exam is completed in two parts, the first being a comprehensive written exam and the second being clinical case studies with written responses.

We are so proud of our graduates for all of their hard work, dedication and countless hours of studying and preparation. The CCATCM strives to produce well-trained and experienced acupuncturists, and these results show that the education we offer is on par with nation-wide standards.

We would also like to thank our instructors; without their dedication and passion for acupuncture and TCM, we would not be able to offer such high-quality education and training.

On behalf of the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, congratulations to our recent graduates on their success!

Sincerely,
Dr. Diana Li
