David’s clinical research focuses on neuroscience sports rehabilitation and acupuncture, including experience in spinal cord injury, urination/defecation disorders, and advanced acupuncture manipulation techniques following Prof. Zhang Jin’s 24-method needling. He integrates TCM theories like meridian diagnostics, classical acupuncture methods, Taichi’s silk-reeling energy theory, and mindfulness practices like Qigong and Five-Element music into clinical and teaching practices.
He has served as a team therapist for international sports events, supporting world-class Olympic athletes, and has authored manuals on Qigong Taichi Acupuncture, combining modern neuroscience with traditional TCM. His acupuncture work on spinal cord injuries has been featured in Ontario’s Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation journal.
A passionate advocate for TCM, David is dedicated to preserving classical techniques and sharing the health & wellness benefits of Acupuncture, Taichi, and Qigong with the community.
