The Holistic (Natural) Nutrition Counsellor Diploma Program offers a unique one-year course program where students learn holistic nutrition, but also gain the unique knowledge and skills from the point of view of over 5,000 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

About the natural nutrition program

  • Available for high school graduates, RMTs, acupuncturists, estheticians, reiki practitioners, nurses and other complementary health professionals
  • 90 hours of clinical training and observation and internship
  • Class time is 20 hours/week with additional hours required for clinical internship and ability to work alongside future acupuncturists in providing care to patients
  • Transfer credits available from previous education if the final mark was 70 percent or higher and the class was 45 hours in length.
  • Learn to chart wellness, collaborate with colleagues, gain a strong understanding of nutrition,body systems, diet, meal plans and other holistic practices, gain communication and interpersonal skills, and more
  • Classes include Body Metabolism, Nutritional Symptomatology, Sports Nutrition and More

Natural Nutrition Employment Opportunities

  • After successful completion, graduates become natural nutrition counsellors
