Acupuncture and TCM Education in Toronto

If you’re in Toronto, you can also study with CCATCM. We don’t have one central campus building there. Instead, programs are offered with a mix of online learning and classes at different spots around the city. The core of what you learn in the main programs is the same as in Halifax.

How Toronto is Different

Our setup in Toronto is designed to be flexible.

Instead of a single campus, CCATCM Toronto uses office spaces and various teaching locations throughout the city. This, combined with online course components, means you might not have to travel to one specific building all the time.
The main Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine programs are offered, mirroring what’s available in Halifax. In Toronto, you’ll also find a couple of additional diploma programs: the Natural Nutrition Counselor Diploma Program and the Acupressure Relaxation Massage Diploma Program. There are other online courses in TCM, acupuncture, and natural healing available too.

The Same Core Learning

Even with a different delivery model, the main Acupuncture and TCM programs in Toronto cover the same curriculum taught at our Halifax campus.  You’re getting the same foundational education that the college has been refining for many years. The aim is to prepare you to be a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner. The college is also registered with Toronto Municipal Licensing & Standards.

  • Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM) Diploma Program (Continuing education program available for TCMP graduates only)
  • Diploma of Acupressure Massage Program
  • Natural Nutrition Counsellor Diploma Program
  • Continuing Education Course & Workshops
Three-Year Blended Delivery Program (Online + Onsite)
  • Years 1–2: Online theory-based coursework (offered online through CCATCM’s Halifax location)
  • Year 3: Onsite practical training and clinical internships ( which may be conducted in Toronto depending on placement availability)
  • Summer Break: Yes — July and August

The Toronto model, with its blend of online learning and diverse physical locations, is designed to offer considerable flexibility. This can be helpful if you’re balancing studies with other commitments.

You get access to the college’s core TCM and acupuncture education. Additionally, the program offers extra diploma options in nutrition and acupressure massage, which may interest you.

Is the teaching quality the same as the Halifax campus?

The goal is to provide the same quality of education across all locations. The core curriculum and the learning outcomes for the shared programs are consistent with what’s offered in Halifax.
