Embarking on a new career can be nerve-racking and will be <\/span>the biggest decision you make. Medicine specifically is a choice of whether you want to go the western or holistic route. Those who do choose holistic medicine have never chosen the path because it\u2019s safe, structured, or because the pay is great. They want to do acupuncture either because they come from a generational background, it has healed a loved one, or they’ve experienced it themselves and fallen in love.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve spoken to students at CCATCM who have found that acupuncture solved their chronic issues, but also wanted to see the practice of what else it may combat such as lack of sleep, stress, nutrition, anxiety, and overall lifestyle through treating patients. Many realized that the root of solving patient problems was their habits and patterns and that could be the differentiator in healing. <\/span><\/p>\n Many don\u2019t know what a career in acupuncture looks like. Many believe when they come out of school leaving with: 1) an alumni network, 2) job placement or assistance, and 3) peer and mentorship support. This industry is composed of dedicated and compassionate sole proprietors who run small businesses and are entrepreneurs!<\/span><\/p>\n If you\u2019re looking for a career in acupuncture, here are some questions you should be asking yourself:<\/span><\/p>\n
